"Thread of Thoughts" Wall (eod thing)

Dina Chehab

Each day, students write or draw a response on a strip of fabric or ribbon (can be literal or paper-based “thread”). It could be a:

  • thought

  • feeling

  • challenge

  • design insight

They knot or pin it onto a growing woven wall or hanging structure — by the end, it’s a tangled, colorful, expressive tapestry that visually maps their mental journey.

This or That

Dina Chehab

This or That (Stand Left or Right)

  • Call out two options:
    “Desert or beach?”
    “Netflix or YouTube?”
    “Falcon or robot pet?”

  • Students move to the left or right of the room to show their answer.

“Move If…”

Dina Chehab

 “Move If…”

  • Everyone stands in a big circle or group.

  • One person says something like:
“Move if you had karak this morning!”
“Move if you love Messi more than Ronaldo!”

  • Anyone who relates steps forward or raises a hand.

  • Switch speakers every few rounds.

“Design a Flag”

Dina Chehab

“Design a Flag”

  • Each small group has 5 minutes to create a flag that represents everyone in the group.

“Clump!”

Dina Chehab

For example

The facilitator says: “Clump into groups of 4!” - Everyone rushes to form clumps of that size. Those who don’t make it out sit (or cheer for others).

You can shout other things:

  • “Find 3 people wearing sneakers!”
